Located in downtown Hoboken, I have visited this place a couple of times. It's similar to Chipotle but the portion size is a bit smaller compared to them but the quality of ingredients here definitely taste better!
I have had a burrito bowl before and recently a pollo asada burrito wrap. The burrito bowl is pretty similar to Chipotle with less quantity but here I'm reviewing the latest visit having pollo asada burrito wrap.
I had suggested the staff to substitute brown rice for white rice which they did, the wrap consisted of black beans, queso, cheese, salsa and chicken. Honestly I thought the quantity of chicken could have been better as most of the time it was rice and beans.
Chips and guac were sides but I felt the chips were a little salty and could be better whereas the guac can be a bit better in quantity given the amount of chips which they serve!
The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is cool, it's a pretty chill place with vibe while the seating arrangement isn't that enough if it's super crowded but decent enough to accommodate people!
Overall a good place in Hoboken which is an alternative for Chipotle and Qdoba!
I ordered delivery this evening — 3 different tacos, a side of rice and beans, a chicken burrito, and a veggie quesadilla. The driver admitted to dropping my order off his bike, and the bag was split open and bean juice was on everything. I thought I could salvage some of it but it turns out the quesadilla was not included, and they made the burrito with the ingredients of the quesadilla and it was totally raw and soggy. Everything was cold and since tacos are not good reheated, it all ended up in the garbage. Would not order from here again.
Great food and vibe. I love the hefty quesadilla options and the wife prefers picking out a few different tacos.
The quesadilla is in the form of a crisp flattened sorta burrito fold. Easy to dip. Bet there's a better way to describe it - but it's just not the folded over tortilla style. For about $10 I find it a very satisfying option.
Tacos are about $4-5 each - and they appear to be made with great care and don't cheap out on the ingredients.
You can order right from the kiosks if you're using credit card to pay - so no human interaction required. Always a plus in this introverts books.
A good amount of seating - but I bet it fills up during prime lunch hours.
The number of Mexican options in Hoboken have thankfully gone up over the past few years. Some better than others. You can slot Tacoria in the "much better" column.
Upbeat, happy and yummy 🤤 that’s it.. super nice decor , indoor/outdoor seating , good music, good food is what happens here . Pretty crowded definitely but worth the wait .. the tacos, burritos, bowl are all highly customizable.. the corn 🌽 on cob was a miss for me.. they have hot sauce or spicy sauce if you food on the Spicy side .. a Huge yay from me
I highly recommend visiting it. I have been here a couple of times and had different varieties of taco's. Definitely try the Avacado one, it is truly delicious. Lots of vegan options as well for everyone to try it out.
When you use this bathroom you have Zero appetite left for tacos!!! Please pay attention and buy a new toilet brush set..
Stuff is extremely helpful and happy however look at this restroom!!!
I really like Tacoria so was looking forward to eating here. When I arrived I found parking a little distance. When I walked in I ordered with a nice young man. I ordered the spicy shredded chicken burrito bowl and a limeade. It took about 10 minutes. When it came out I seen a lot of dairy items. I failed to ask about that and had to ask them to remake it without the dairy. They were very nice about it and got right to it. It took about 5 minutes or so and I thanked them and left. When I got in I dug in and the bowl was very tasty. I also liked the limeade.
A decently priced Mexican cuisine place. Their chicken tacos, loaded nachos and vegan burrito bowls are okay, not that great. The chicken burrito wraps are really good. Tried the fried avocado wrap, that is quite new and tasty. The soft drinks on side are good too. The vibe is nice and the staff is friendly.
